An Introduction to the AGA R7 Series

The R7 AGA Cooker (the new AGA Dual Control) combines traditional AGA ovens with independently controllable hotplates. Our best-selling AGA model offers everything you love about the AGA, but with added flexibility and reduced running and servicing costs.

With the R7 AGA the ovens are always on and ready for use, but the hotplates can be turned on and off independently at the turn of a switch via the control panel. This means you can make a reduction in the overall heat input into the room from the cooker when desired.

With an electric AGA R7, the ovens also feature four different heat settings: Normal for everyday use, Low for reduced temperature cooking about 10% lower, High for heavy use days which runs about 10% higher and Slumber which allows the cooker to retain some warmth but gives the best economy.

The new R7 AGA Cooker cooks using the same principles as a traditional model, but it costs less to run than a traditional AGA.

The AGA R7 cooker is perfect for those looking to trade up from an older model and for those who love good food coupled with a stylish and cosy kitchen.

The R7 comes in either 3 oven or 5 oven models and both can have an integrated module giving you further flexibility and year round control.

The 5 oven module can also come with either the traditional warming plate or an induction hob.

The R7 AGA Cooker has a Roasting Oven, Simmering Oven, Baking Oven and, in the 5 oven model, a Slow Cooking and a Warming Oven. Both the 3 oven and 5 oven have a Boiling and Simmering hotplate.
