Choosing The Right AGA Cooker
Selecting the ideal AGA cooker to complement their lifestyle proved to be a straightforward task. The Savanth's received expert guidance from our sales team, who helped them choose the perfect AGA model that aligned with their specific requirements and preferences.
After conducting an on-site evaluation, our team of expert engineers gave the go-ahead for the purchase and installation of the AGA appliance.
The model that the Savanth's chose was the classic AGA eR7 100-3i, known for its outstanding performance and iconic style, was the perfect choice for the Savanth's country kitchen. With its traditional cast-iron construction and innovative technology, this is the most flexible and controllable AGA cooker. The hotplates and cast-iron ovens that can be individually turned on/off, set to slumber, or used individually from cold in the hotter months.
Delivery & Installation
To effortlessly transfer the AGA cooker from our delivery van to the Savanth's kitchen, our engineers utilised the impressive electric Zonzini Stair Climber. This advanced piece of machinery is designed for moving heavy objects, making the transportation of the AGA a hassle-free process that ensures the cooker's safe arrival into the kitchen.
With the AGA now in place, our engineers carefully installed and connected the appliance, leaving no detail unchecked. The engineers conducted a thorough test run to confirm the AGA's functionality. The result was a fully operational and flawlessly installed AGA cooker, ready for the Savanth family to enjoy in their kitchen.
Kitchen Adjustments
The Savanth's' had previously owned a wider cooker, resulting in gaps on either side of the new AGA. To tackle this, Dan - our skilled kitchen fitter and engineer, personally designed and hand-painted custom kitchen cabinets on either side of the AGA.
Regrettably, the existing countertops couldn't be colour-matched. To address this, the Savanth's' opted to install a butcher-block-style countertop that not only matched the AGA but also seamlessly blended with the existing work surfaces.
The Extractor Hood Installation
Installing the AGA Slab Hood presented a significant challenge due to the presence of an obstructing wooden beam in the space. Dan was able to make the necessary modifications to ensure the extractor hood could be installed while accommodating the beam.
