Lacanche range cookers have been made in the village of Lacanche, in the heart of Burgundy, for more than two centuries. Every one is built by hand and to order, in heavy-gauge steel, cast iron and solid brass.
These are stoves made to be cooked on every day, and built to last. A Lacanche range is modelled on the ranges of the professional French kitchen: solid brass burners, cast-iron pan supports, and ovens that hold their temperature accurately. Raymond Blanc could have any range cooker he wished. At Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons, he chose a Lacanche.
Lacanche ranges run from a compact 70cm to more than two metres wide, and you choose the ovens, the hob, the enamel colour and the trim. The result is a cooker built around the way you cook, and the kitchen you want to cook in.

Our best-selling Lacanche. The Macon fits three ovens into a metre: two main ovens, each specified as fan, static or gas, and a separate grill oven alongside. On top, choose five open gas burners, four burners around a cast-iron simmer plate, or five-zone induction.
The cooker that began the Lacanche range, beloved for its perfect symmetry. The Cluny has two generous ovens side by side, with two storage drawers beneath. Like the Macon, it is a metre wide, with the same choice of gas, simmer plate or induction hob.
For a larger kitchen, the Citeaux is a metre and a half of serious cooking. A wide main oven sits at the centre, with a tall fan oven and grill on one side and a simmer oven on the other, for warming plates, holding dishes and slow cooking. The hob has room for two extra elements, such as a plancha, a chargrill or induction zones alongside gas.
At 1.4 metres, the Chemin gives you four ovens: the two main ovens and grill oven of the Macon, plus a tall simmer oven for keeping food warm and slow cooking. A five-burner or five-zone hob comes as standard, with space to add one more element of your choice.
The Lacanche Classic range also includes the Cormatin, Rully, Sully, Chagny, Bussy, Beaune, Savigny, Volnay, Saulieu, Chalonnais and Vézelay, from a compact 70cm to more than two metres wide. Each is available in a choice of colours, trims and configurations.
